We’re not looking for someone to “manage a sales team.” We’re looking for someone to take this team to the next level—expanding nationally while building a high\-performing revenue engine.

What You’ll Do
This is a hands\-on leadership role. You’ll be doing the work *and* building the system behind it.
Lead \& Elevate the Sales Team
* Coach and hold sales reps accountable to real performance metrics
* Run pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance check\-ins
* Create a culture of ownership, urgency, and results

Drive New Business
* Generate new opportunities through networking, outreach, and client meetings
* Get in front of customers – this is not a desk\-only role
* Help close key and strategic deals

Build the Sales Machine
* Create a structured, repeatable sales process
* Improve pipeline visibility, forecasting, and conversion rates
* Define roles and eliminate inefficiencies across the team

Shape Strategy \& Growth
* Help refine pricing, margins, and bundled offerings (equipment \+ monitoring \+ service)
* Identify new markets (maritime, industrial, multi\-site clients)
* Strengthen positioning and value proposition

Own Client Relationships
* Build strong, lasting relationships with key customers
* Support retention and expansion of existing accounts

What Success Looks Like
You’re not measured on activity but on results:
* Revenue growth (new \+ recurring)
* Strong, healthy pipeline (3–4x coverage)
* Improved win rates and shorter sales cycles
* Accurate forecasting
* A sales team that performs well

Who You Are
You’re not just a strategist – you’re a builder and a closer.
Required:
* 5–10\+ years in sales leadership or business development
* Proven ability to generate new business and close deals
* Experience leading or mentoring salespeople
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship\-building skills
* Comfortable operating in a fast\-paced, growth\-focused environment
* Ability to think strategically but execute tactically

Bonus Points:
* Experience in security, surveillance, or video systems
* Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Go High Level, etc.)
* Experience with recurring revenue models (monitoring/service)
* Background in maritime, industrial, or B2B services

* Mix of office, field, and client\-facing work
* Local and regional travel required for business development
